Florida QB Treon Harris faces second-degree misdemeanor charge
Florida quarterback Treon Harris has been charged for operating a vehicle without a valid license, according to a report from Robbie Andreu of The Gainesville Sun.
The charge is a second-degree misdemeanor. Harris is reportedly set to appear in court on Jan. 15.
His attorney, Huntley Johnson, told The Gainseville Sun that Harris is attempting to obtain a license.
“I think as soon as he gets his license, the charge probably will be dismissed,” Johnson said. “That's the way it's usually handled in a case like this for a citizen, and he's a citizen.”
Andreuadded that the two passengers in the car Harris was driving were freshman defensive backs Jalen Tabor and J.C. Jackson.

Two small bags of marijuana were found in the car, Andreureports, but none of the players were charged with marijuana posession.
Harris, who replaced junior Jeff Driskel as the Gators' starting quarterback in October, has passed for 896 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions while adding 291 yards and three touchdowns on the ground this season.
Florida will face East Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl on Jan. 3.
