Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. LSU Tigers
LSU takes on Notre Dame in the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl on Dec. 30 in Nashville. Notre Dame (7-5) comes into the game having lost their last four games, giving up at least 31 points in each loss. LSU (8-4) won its regular season finale against Texas A&M, giving the Tigers eight victories for the 15th straight season. The last time the teams played was the 2007 Sugar Bowl, a 41-14 victory for LSU.

11/27: LSU 23, Texas A&M 17
Freshman Leonard Fournette ran for 146 yards and Anthony Jennings added 119 yards rushing and 107 passing for the Tigers' fourth straight victory over the Aggies. Texas A&M's offense only posted 288 yards.
11/15:Arkansas 17, LSU 0
LSU was shut out for the first time since the national championship against Alabama three seasons ago. Arkansas went up 17-0 early in the fourth quarter before Anthony Jennings fumbled, icing the game for the Razorbacks. The Tigers managed 123 yards of total offense, 87 coming through the air via Jennings, who went 12-of-22 on the day.
11/8: Alabama 20, LSU 13 (OT)
The Tigers took a 13-10 lead with less than a minute remaining, but Alabama forced overtime and DeAndrew White's touchdown catch won the game for the Crimson Tide. Anthony Jennings completed just eight of 26 passes for 76 yards, one touchdown and one interception as LSU was held to 259 yards of total offense.
10/25: LSU 10, Ole Miss 7
LSU gave then-No. 3 Ole Miss its first loss of the season despite turning the ball over four times. Safety Ronald Martin sealed the win by intercepting Bo Wallace at the one-yard line with two seconds remaining. Freshman running back Leonard Fournette led the Tigers with 113 rushing yards on 23 carries.

11/29:USC 49, Notre Dame 14
Cody Kessler threw six touchdown passes and the Trojans jumped out to a 35-0 lead before the Fighting Irish scored their first touchdown with 4:11 remaining in the second quarter. Kessler finished 32-of-40 for 372 yards, and Nelson Agholor caught 12 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. As a team, USC gained 577 yards of total offense.
11/22:Louisville 31, Notre Dame 28
Notre Dame's season-ending spiral continued with a loss to Louisville, their third straight defeat. Kyle Brindza missed a 32-yard field goal attempt late in the fourth quarter which would have forced overtime. Everett Golson completed 16 of 24 passes for 236 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the loss. William Fuller caught five balls for 109 yards and a touchdown, while Tarean Folston added 134 rushing yards and a score on the ground.
11/15:Northwestern 43, Notre Dame 40
Notre Dame was ahead for most of the game before Northwestern came back late to tie the score and win on a field goal in overtime. Notre Dame was unable to stop the Wildcats' offense in the final minutes of regulation, leading to a game-tying field goal with less than a minute remaining in regulation. The 'Cats kicked the game-winner in overtime after Notre Dame missed a field goal of its own. Quarterback Everett Golson finished with 287 yards for three touchdowns with one interception and also had one fumble.
11/8:Arizona State 55, Notre Dame 31
The Fighting Irish lost their second game of the season on the road against Arizona State. After grabbing an early 3-0 lead, Notre Dame surrendered 34 straight points before scoring 28 unanswered points of their own to pull within three points. The Sun Devils, however, scored the final 21 points to seal the victory. Everett Golson completed 22 of 41 passes for 446 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw four interceptions.
