Report: Oregon WR Devon Allen (knee) to miss national championship game
Oregon redshirt freshman wide receiver Devon Allen is expected to miss the national championship game against Ohio State because of a right knee injury, Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman reports.
Allen was injured on the opening kickoff of Oregon’s 59-20 rout of Florida State in the Rose Bowl. He was seen in a wheelchair with a bandage over his knee during the game.

Allen is the reigning NCAA champion in the 110-meter hurdles, won the 110-meter hurdles at the 2014 USATF Outdoor Championships this summer and many consider him the fastest player in college football.
Allen had 41 catches for 684 yards and seven touchdowns and averaged 26.1 yards on eight kickoff returns this season for Oregon.
Second-ranked Oregon will take on Ohio State in the National Championship Game on Jan. 12 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
