Live Updates: No. 1 Alabama Baseball vs. No. 2 Boston College (Tuscaloosa Regional)

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — And then there were two.
Alabama baseball is one win away from the Super Regionals. In its way is No. 2 seed Boston College — which defeated and eliminated Troy on Sunday afternoon in a 4-1 victory.
The Crimson Tide (42-19, 16-14 SEC) beat the Trojans for the third time of the season on Saturday night in what was a chaotic, near-impossible finish. Down to its final out of the night, Alabama scored four runs in the ninth inning highlighted by a crucial error by Troy shortstop Tremayne Cobb Jr.
The Crimson Tide just needs to beat the Eagles (37-19, 16-14 ACC) once. If Boston College wins Sunday night, there will be a winner-take-all game at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on Monday at a to-be-determined time.
RHP Jacob McNairy (6-2, 4.08 ERA) will get the start for Alabama on Sunday night. McNairy was brilliant in his final eight starts of the season, allowing just eight runs in 51.1 innings — that’s a 1.40 ERA from April 4 - May 19.
However, it was his disaster start against Vanderbilt that eliminated Alabama from the SEC tournament last week in Hoover.
First pitch of Sunday's regional final is scheduled for 9:36 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
