In this story:

Most BYU commits have kicked off their senior seasons. BYU running back commit Ezra Sanelivi kicked off his senior season on the same night.

On the first carry of his senior season, Sanelivi scored a 56-yard touchdown. Sanelivi found a crease in the defense and was off to the races.

Blake Wong - WR

Blake Wong set multiple records at his high school last season. He picked up where he left off on Friday in a blowout win. Wong finished with 5 catches for 138 yards and 3 touchdowns. He had three touchdown receptions of 20 yards or more. Wong is a special talent, and he has the ability to impact the wide receiver rotation right away.

Ezra Sanelivi - RB

BYU RB commit Ezra Sanelivi housed his first carry of the season, scoring from 50+ yards out. Later in the game, Sanelivi scored another touchdown from 35 yards out. He finished the game with 133 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.

Uhila Wolfgramm - DE

Four-star edge Uhila Wolfgramm and Maple Mountain got their first win of the season on Friday night against Riverton. Wolfgramm is up to 3.5 sacks in two games this season. Wolfgramm is double or tripe teamed on nearly every play. Still, he has been as disruptive as advertised. He has the chance to lead the state in sacks this season.

Moa Havili - DT

BYU defensive tackle commit was recruited for his ability to disrupt the line of scrimmage and get after the quarterback. His stats from those games have not been posted, but his team was getting blown out by Syracuse, so Havili had the chance to carry the football. He proceeded to score an 80-yard touchdown, stiff arming multiple defenders on his way to the end zone.

Jaxson Rex - ATH

Jaxson Rex was really disruptive in his season opener. He had a pick six and he dropped another interception that would have been returned for a touchdown as well. He also had a TFL.

Rex and the San Clemente shut out Tustin to kickoff the season.

Jeremiah Williams - DT

Jeremiah Williams plays for Tustin, the school that got shut out by Rex's San Clemente High School. Williams still managed to make plays, including this fumble that he ripped right out of the running back's hands.

Peyton Higginson - S

Safety commit Peyton Higginson has three interceptions in the first two games of the season. He also forced a fumble and caught a receiving touchdown. Higginson also plays wide receiver for Salem Hills High School.

Tytan DeJong - ATH

Tytan DeJong and Mountain Ridge are off to a dominant 2-0 start to the season. DeJong has 20 catches and 206 receiving yards through two games.

Other BYU Commits

Offensive tackle commit Kyle Babrotzky kicked off his senior season on Friday. Nabrotzky helped Brentwood High School defeat Smyrna 21-20.

Lakepa Satuala recorded five tackles in Bountiful's loss to Herriman to kickoff the 2026 season.

Jag Ioane had four tackles, including a tackle for loss, in Orem's win over Kamehameha High School.

A few BYU commits have either not kicked off their senior seasons, or stats from their season openers have not been posted: Demichael Burks, Ryan Wooten, Kamoni Adams,
