Bearcats Guard A.J. McGinnis Transferring to Lipscomb

CINCINNATI — Former Cincinnati guard A.J. McGinnis is headed to Lipscomb to finish his college career. The sophomore announced his decision on social media over the weekend.

McGinnis averaged 5.1 minutes and 2.3 points in 2021-22. He decided to leave the program in pursuit of a larger role after transferring from UNC Greensboro when Wes Miller moved over from that school to Cincinnati.

The Bearcats still have two open roster spots to fill with transfers after landing Old Dominion forward Kalu Ezikpe over the weekend.
