David Dejulius Announces Return to Cincinnati
CINCINNATI — He's back.
Senior Bearcats guard David Dejulius announced he is returning too Cincinnati for his final year of college eligibility.
Dejulius led the Bearcats in scoring last year—averaging 14.5 points, 2.8 Rebounds, and 2.6 assists. The tea leaves spelled a return for Dejulius after Sophomore guard Mike Saunders entered the transfer portal.
The senior leader was Cincinnati's lone All-AAC player—while finishing ninth in conference scoring, sixth in free throw percentage (82.4%), and eighth in FG% (40.9%).
Retaining Dejulius is a massive domino for Wes Miller and his staff. The Bearcats still have three open roster spots to fill with transfers. They need another veteran defensive wing and a scoring big man.
