In this story:

CINCINNATI —  New Bearcats guard Kerr Kriisa is entering his sixth college season with plenty of experience. A tenure that's unfortunately seen him suffer multiple major injuries to shorten seasons.

The veteran is ultimately focused on one thing to improve this offseason: Durability. His 2024-25 season at Kentucky was interrupted by a multi-week foot fracture last December.

"Just getting my body right, getting my body ready to play, losing my body fat, getting my kind of pace back," Kriisa said on Wednesday. "Obviously, I got hurt in the middle of the season last year, so it's been kind of like a long process. But yeah, for me, the main thing really is just making sure my body is straight."

When he's healthy, Kriisa is one of the better guards in college basketball. The Estonian product averaged 11 points and 4.7 assists with WVU in 2023-24 on 42.4% shooting from outside. He suited up for 24 games that season and has hit 30-plus games played in just two college seasons.

Alas, he's been fully cleared for the rest of the offseason and could find better luck (or health strategies) in his fourth college home.
