Report: Dayton, Cincinnati Bearcats Basketball Continuing Rivalry Matchups

New venues this time around.

CINCINNATI —   The Bearcats are reportedly keeping the rivalry matchups rolling with Dayton, this time in home venues. CBS Sports insider Jon Rothstein confirmed the schools are finalizing plans to play this coming season and next at each school's respective home arena.

The Bearcats lost the 2023 matchup and won the 2024 matchup, both played at Heritage Bank Center. Cincinnati has played Dayton the sixth most times of any opponent since 1949 (45-17 record).

The first game of this new setup will be on an undisclosed date at Fifth Third Arena and then they will play again next season at UD Arena.

UPDATE: Cincinnati will play Dayton at home on Nov. 11.
