Darrian Beavers, Coby Bryant Project to be Big Winners From UC Pro Day

CINCINNATI — Darrian Beavers made a statement during his first full workout in front of NFL teams. The standout UC linebacker was dealing with an injury at the NFL Combine, but he looked fully healthy on Thursday.
Beavers made himself some money at the Sheakley Athletic Center. He tested like an elite linebacker across the board.

The linebacker improved his vertical leap by three inches. Beavers is currently the 104th-best consensus player in the 2022 NFL Draft and is projected to come off the board in the fourth round.
Beavers wasn't the only defender who boosted their stock. Coby Bryant was eager to improve on his 4.54 second 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine. He accomplished that goal by posting a 4.47 second time.
Bryant is currently the consensus 93rd-best player in the draft and is a projected third-round pick. The defensive mavens were the biggest winners from Cincinnati's Pro Day.
