CINCINNATI — We have another four-star offer and a visit to note in the latest Recruiting Roundup.

Things start with an offer to four-star 2024 defensive end Brian Robinson out of Austintown Fitch (Ohio).

According to On3 consensus, Robinson is the 127th-ranked player nationally and the 12th-ranked edge defender. He is ESPN's 54th-overall player and the 11th-ranked edge rusher. He holds 31 offers and is most closely linked to Pittsburgh (23.6%), Michigan (15.6%), and Penn State (9.1%).

The 6-foot-5, 225-pound edge rusher uses that frame to get north and south in a hurry. Robinson has a great motor that lets him play 100% through every whistle. He wins a lot with power and throws blockers off at the point of attack.

At times, the junior gets caught getting blocked down the line and struggles to shed due to a lacking pass-rush move package. Moves are the easiest thing to keep improving on, that power and speed aren't coachable, giving him a good case as a top-15 edge defender in 2024. Check out his highlights here.

According to 247Sports's Allan Trieu, 2025 Howell (Michigan) defensive lineman Bobby Kanka is visiting Cincinnati this weekend for the Kennesaw State game.

Consensus rankings aren't available for the 2025 class, but Kanka does have four offers right now from Michigan, Central Michigan, Miami (OH), and Syracuse. Michigan is a heavy favorite to land Kanka, having been the only school to offer him and welcome him for multiple visits thus far.

Kanka is playing more edge than interior during his sophomore season. He is overpowering opponents early with a prominent 6-foot-4, 255-pound frame. nothing stands out with Kanka in a good way, he reads his keys well and I'm interested to see how his pass-rushing moves progress over the rest of 2022 and beyond. Check out his highlights here.
