Watch: Desmond Ridder Discusses how he is Fixing Accuracy Issues Ahead of 2022 NFL Draft

CINCINNATI — Former Bearcats quarterback Desmond Ridder is trying to prove he should be the first passer off the 2022 NFL Draft board at this week's combine.

He met with the media on Wednesday and discussed how he's addressing his accuracy issues with quarterback guru Jordan Palmer.

"Yeah, so the main thing is working from the feet," Ridder said. "That's where a quarterback starts—especially in their throwing motion. Make sure everything is staying balanced, staying level. That my weight transfer isn't too far back or too far forward and then stride length as well. So when I get into that overstriding position, that's sometimes where you see the inaccuracies. So just making sure that we keep that stable, and keep everything in balance."
