Brian Kelly Comments on his Newfound Southern Accent

LSU's new head football coach added some southern twang to his voice during his last public appearance.

CINCINNATI — Former Bearcats head football coach Brian Kelly is getting comfortable with his new digs at LSU. He looked a little too comfortable when he appeared to add a southern accent on the move to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

A couple of weeks ago, Kelly spoke to the LSU basketball crowd with a little twang, and he cleared up how that happened during the Texas Bowl broadcast on ESPN.

Quite the stretch from Kelly in saying that Bostonians don't have accents? Regardless, the coach is more focused on building out his staff than pleasing the masses. He recently hired away Mike Denbrock from UC to be his offensive coordinator.
