Pinging The Portal: Guard Contacts Continue, Including a West Virginia Visitor

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats continue contacting transfer candidates as they now have three scholarships to use after Sage Tolentino entered the transfer portal. One player they've reached out to is Oklahoma State guard Javon Small.
The former East Carolina player posted 15.1 points, 4.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game last season on 44.1% shooting (37.4% from deep).
The 6-foot-3 talent would be a fantastic way to round out the backcourt with CJ Fredrick yet to enter the portal and a projected part of the team as of this writing.
Check out Small's highlights here.
