Wes Miller Discusses Latest Injury Update Surrounding CJ Fredrick as Season Winds Down

Cincinnati has sorely missed Fredrick's shooting throughout most of Big 12 play.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati head men's basketball coach Wes Miller chatted with Bearcats play-by-play voice Dan Hoard about CJ Fredrick's latest hamstring setback.

The guard has missed consecutive games after not coming out for the second half against Oklahoma State. The fickle hamstring saga continues for a player who can't find any consistent health luck in his career.

"I'm not quite sure," Miller said to Hoard about Fredrick's status the rest of the season. "I'm not saying that in a frustrating way. I just think hamstrings are tricky as we all know in sports and so I think it's one of those things that he couldn't go back in the second half of the Oklahoma State game and he has not practiced since. So I'll update you guys when I know something."

Fredrick is averaging 6.1 points (42.6% from deep) across 15 games this season.
