The Florida State Seminoles are searching for their first wide receiver commitment in the 2027 class.

Luckily, there are a few options on the board, and Tim Harris Jr. has proven himself as a capable recruiter over the last two cycles.

The Seminoles are among the final contenders for a blue-chip pass-catcher who is teammates with one of Florida State's top quarterback targets.

Four-Star Wide Receivers Includes FSU In Final Six

Earlier this week, four-star wide receiver Elias Pearl announced he was trimming his recruitment down to six.

Florida State made the cut alongside LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Pearl has held an offer from the Seminoles since February. He was recently on campus in April to watch the program go through spring practice.

The Florida native has official visits set to Florida, Georgia, and Ole Miss.

There is an interesting caveat to note as Pearl is a high school teammate of three-star quarterback Logan Flaherty.

Flaherty has quickly risen towards the top of Florida State's quarterback board, with other recruits committing elsewhere.

During his junior season at Port Charlotte High school, Pearl totaled 69 receptions for 1,052 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also rushed 40 times for 253 yards and 11 more scores. He also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.

Pearl recorded 100+ receiving yards in four games, including a season-high ten catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-21 victory against Sebring High School on September 19.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound wide receiver is regarded as the No. 90 overall prospect, the No. 16 WR, and the No. 10 recruit in Florida in the 2027 class according to the 247Sports Composite Ratings.
