Conferences Around the NCAA Cancel Their Tournaments Leading Up to March Madness to Stop the Spread of Coronavirus

It was announced Wednesday that the NCAA tournament would not allow fans to attend games

This week, the ACC, AAC, Big 10, Big 12, Big East, Ivy League, MAC, MEAC, Pac-12, SWAC, SEC, Southland Conference, and WAC all cancelled their basketball tournaments. On Wednesday NCAA president Mark Emmert released a statement saying only family and essential personnel would be able to attend the NCAA tournament games.
