College Football issues forfeit policy for playoffs

The College Football Playoff Committee issued a new policy where a team can advance and potentially win the National Championship if their opponent has to forfeit.

The College Football Playoff Committee enacted a new policy in light of the COVID-19 Omicron variant that allows for a team to advance, and ultimately win, the National Championship if their opponent needs to forfeit.
