College Football issues forfeit policy for playoffs

The College Football Playoff Committee issued a new policy where a team can advance and potentially win the National Championship if their opponent has to forfeit.

The College Football Playoff Committee enacted a new policy in light of the COVID-19 Omicron variant that allows for a team to advance, and ultimately win, the National Championship if their opponent needs to forfeit. SI hosts Robin Lundberg and Ashley Nicole Moss discuss if the new policy is fair to the student athletes and teams.
