Sean Kennedy

Sean is a recent graduate of Wake Forest University, where he served as lead sports editor of the school’s student-run publication, the Old Gold & Black. Outside of covering Wake Forest’s sports programs, he served as president of the school’s Sports Analytics Club. A native of Long Island, New York, he enjoys watching all forms of racing in his spare time.

After an exhilarating, last-second 13-12 win against SMU, Wake Forest Football (5-2, 2-2 ACC) now finds itself one win away from bowl eligibility. Despite three consecutive wins, the Demon Deacons face a daunting environment, traveling to Florida State.

After the last bye week of the 2025 season, Wake Forest Football is finally back, returning to Winston-Salem in time for Homecoming. Head Coach Jake Dickert and the Demon Deacons have had a positive start to the season so far, and look to take on SMU.

After Wake Forest hired Head Coach Jake Dickert last December, many fans knew that they'd see a new offense with offensive coordinator Rob Ezell at the helm. Through the first half of the season, the Demon Deacons' offense proved explosive and electric.
