My friends would be surprised to know that I: I had brain surgery when I was 11. I had two tumors, one on my brain and one on my spine. I still have one on my brain but it is benign and is fine for the time being.
Three people I’d like to have dinner with (living or dead):
1. Walt Disney. I think he must have been one of the most fascinating people that has every walked the face of the earth. It blows my mind to think that one person was behind the whole Disney industry.
2. Robin Roberts. I have grown up watching Good Morning America. I feel like I personally know all the hosts on the show. I refer to all of them as if they were my next-door neighbors. Robin is such an inspiration to me because of her perseverance to fight cancer not only once but twice and still be so positive and amazing at what she does. She puts a smile on my face every morning.
3. Steve Jobs. It was a man with a vision, much like Walt Disney. He made his dreams a reality. He is one of the greatest masterminds of our time and he has completely changed the way the world operates. I would love to hear his insight on the world and how he initially embarked on this mission.
My celebrity crush: Matthew McConaughey. Every movie from Failure to Launch, Fools Gold, Sweet Home Alabama, and Magic Mike, my crush on him grows deeper and deeper. I know he’s way beyond my age… and has a girlfriend with children, but one day it’ll happen between us.
If I had to watch one movie or TV show over and over, it would be: Keeping up with the Kardashians. I don’t like the spin offs as much.
The top three items on my bucket list:
1. Hike the Grand Canyon
2. Go heli-skiing
3. Dive the Great Barrier Reef
My favorite websites/blogs: Pinterest. I cannot live without Pinterest. It’s how I’ve gotten through the last two years of school. My favorite category is ‘Food and Drink.' There are always so many great, healthy recipe ideas!
My favorite app: MapMyRun. I love to run with no specific path in mind so its nice to be able to keep track of where and how far I’ve run. It also tells you cool things like how many calories you’ve burned and what your pace is. I really like to try and beat my own records. It’s like a game!
The most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to me during a game: In high school, my dad’s favorite cheer that we would do was 'Dynamite.' When we got ready to do the cheer, my dad his friends stormed the field and joined in…. even including the high kick!
My favorite professional team: The Atlanta Braves. I grew up going to Braves games. I would go all the time with my friends during the summer in high school. When I was little, my dream was to grow up and be a Braves girl. I submitted an application when I was 12 and they told me to reapply when I was of age.
My favorite person to follow on Twitter: My sister, Lily. Since I went to college, I have to find every way I can to follow her fast-paced life.
The coolest person that follows me on Twitter: I’m friends with Shayla Worley on Facebook. She’s a world champion gymnast that now competes for the University of Georgia. She’s my idol.
My coolest Facebook friend: I have three brothers and they are my favorite friends on Facebook. I have three nieces and one on the way and they are all in different states. I love seeing pictures and getting updated on what’s going on in their lives.
If you looked at the “most played” songs on my iPod, you’d see a lot of: Taylor Swift
My worst habit: Shopping. It’s gone past a habit, it’s more of an addiction now. I will shop for anything. I even love the grocery store and CVS!
The talent I’d most like to have: I wish I were a good singer. I LOVE to sing but what comes out of my mouth is just too miserable to subject anyone to.
My one guilty pleasure: I drink a Diet Coke every day.
My worst date: I went on a date with my brother’s best friend. We went to a Mexican restaurant and he didn’t order anything to eat. He just sat there and watched me.I’d want my last meal to be:
