Winning the 2013 PGA Championship earned Jason Dufner serious clout in the golf world. But Dufner's first major title won't gain him any leverage when it comes to watching his beloved Auburn Tigers play Missouri in Saturday's SEC Championship Game.

Dufner -- who had to walk-on to earn a spot on the Auburn golf team -- is an avid Auburn football fan, so his entry into this week's World Challenge in Thousand Oaks, CA presents a television viewing conflict. Dufner tried running a scheduling request -- via Twitter -- by the tournament's majordomo: Tiger Woods.

Woods, a Stanford fan, quickly denied Dufner's proposal.
