13 Year-Old Carries Her Twin Sister Across The Finish Line At Track Meet
Halfway through the 800m event at a middle school track meet in southern Illinois, Chloe Gruenke felt a pain in her thigh and was unable to continue. Luckily her twin sister Claire was also running in the race, and decided she could not leave her sibling behind. Instead, she stopped and put Chloe on her back and soldiered on towards the finish line.
Although the sisters came in last, they did warm the hearts of everyone attending the meet, and gave everyone a pretty great lesson about sportsmanship. Plus, the next time Claire is too tired to walk somewhere, she knows her sister owes her one.
