 A Washington Post reader objects to a column which compared Ray Rice to Fred Flitstone, saying Fred loved his wife very much and would never hurt her.

A Washington Post reader leapt to the defense of beloved cartoon character Fred Flintstone after columnist Sally Jenkins described Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice domestic violence incident as "going all Flintstone on his wife."

Martin Kramer of Takoma Park wrote a passionate response letter explaining the depths of Fred's devotion to Wilma, and that he would never raise a hand to her.

Fred would also probably have been a superior running back to Rice, considering he could power the family car with just his feet.
