Ref gets trucked by rugby player
Officiating a contact sport like rugby has its disadvantages, like the risk of getting bowled over by a player at full-speed. One referee experienced just that during a recent matchup between New Zealand and Australia.
Good news: The ref is OK. Better news: He was also wearing a camera, giving us a glorious, first-person account of the event.
Ouch.
