Falcons kicker Matt Bryant has a way cooler strategy to raise money for ALS than Knicks owner James Dolan. While Dolan's plan involved thousands of kazoos, Bryant will donate $100 for every field goal and extra point he makes this season.
Did the ALS ice challenge this summer. I pledged $100 for every kick made, FG and XP.— matt bryant (@Matt_Bryant3) September 22, 2014
Thanks in large part to a 56-14 blowout in Week 3, Bryant has already made 17 kicks this season. Last year he made 63 kicks, in a down year for the Atlanta offense. This year he's on pace for 90 made kicks.
Even if he doesn't keep up that pace, Bryant will end up donating a serious chunk of money. Good on him.
