Tim Tebow presents song of the year award at CMAs, gets left hanging

Thursday November 6th, 2014

Television personality and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow was at the Country Music Association's annual award show on Wednesday night to help hand out the Song of the Year award to Kacey Musgraves.

Always a bastion of chivalry, Tebow went to lend Musgraves a hand as she ascended the stairs to receive the award, but the singer was not interested in the former Florida quarterback's help, leaving Tebow uncomfortably hanging.

Tebow addressed the snub the next morning in his role as a Good Morning America correspondent.

Winning a Heisman Trophy is nice, but there is no topping the lead singer of Hootie & The Blowfish.
