Watch: Greek soccer match interrupted by stubborn goat on field

Friday December 5th, 2014

This video comes to us from the Greek island of Crete, which is apparently being overtaken by goats.

Despite the fact the field is surrounded by a fence, the goat manages to wander onto the field and take up residency in one of the goals. The goalkeeper tries to pull it away, but it digs its hooves in and refuses to be moved.

Two men eventually succeed in forcing it off the field, but the goat manages to scamper back onto the field, once again setting up shop in the goalmouth only to be dragged away. Perhaps the team had already used all of its substitutions.
