NBA writer Chris Palmer learned not to cross Kevin Durant or any of his teammates on Twitter today, after the Thunder star took Palmer down on Twitter for questioning Nick Collison's contract extension.

The three points, three boards player in question here is Collison, who signed with the Thunder for two more years on Tuesday. Durant must have been cruising Twitter at just the right time because he responded swiftly and strongly.

Palmer, who used to write about the NBA for ESPN, says the reigning MVP has his information wrong, but gave him respect for the comeback anyway.

The writer began trending on Twitter shortly after the exchange, although probably not for a reason he would like.
