Masters Round-Up

jordan-spieth.jpg

Congrats to Jordan Spieth on his victory in the Masters. Michael Rosenberg has an excellent profile on the 21-year-old champ. Also check out this great video of Spieth celebrating with his family ... They didn't win but Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson and Jimmy Walkerall had must-see shots whileJustin Rose had a must-see butt shake ... A bone in Tiger Woods' wrist popped out during a ninth hole approach shot. He popped it back in and finished the round ... The University of Georgia showed the Masters on the scoreboard before the school's spring game ... Rory McIlroy will perform with One Direction as payback for one of the band members being his caddy ... Ben Crenshaw's daughter is one reason to root for Ben Crenshaw ...John Daly had another enjoyable year at Augusta.

Did Darrelle Revis Get Hacked?

Darrelle Revis has become a target for Patriots fans since signing with the Jets last month for a pile of money. The cornerback finally snapped and used Instagram to lash out on his haters, telling one fan that "your a pimple on my a**." He then claimed he was hacked, which is the go-to response for any athlete who says something dumb on social media. I think he's just embarrassed by his use of "your" instead of "you're."

I Don't Understand Coachella

Coachella baffles me. In my day (queue old man voice), music festivals were for music and trying to avoid the port-a-potty as long as humanly possible. Coachella had a bunch of extravagant parties, fancy restaurants and an actual fashion show. This article sums up my thoughts pretty perfectly. The first weekend of the festival is over and all anyone is talking about are the good-looking women who attended, this Amber Rose-Kendall Jenner near-incident and Madonna trying to remain relevant. At least Reggie Bush had a good time.

Odds & Ends

It's not every day a baseball game ends with a 41-20 score ... The L.A. Kings really dislike their coach ... Russell Wilson wears dad jeans ... Former U.S. softball pitching ace (and SI Swimsuit model) Jennie Finchshowed off her form with this first pitch ... The Frozen Four trophy presenter did not have a great day ... NHL Grandma of the Year ... If the Mad Men characters were MLB Players ... Shmacon (bacon made from beef) is now a thing ... This man went to Divorce Court and while there accused his former girlfriend of sleeping with the entire Wu Tang Clan ... Marilyn Manson went to Denny's and got punched in the face ... People really enjoyed the "bring your own cup day" promotion at 7/11.

Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura got in Mike Trout’s face after a run. Much anger. No punches thrown. Typical baseball fight.

Before There Was a Carlton Dance...

Somehow, Schroder turned 45 today. This gives me a great excuse to show this Silver Spoons clip of him and Alfonso Ribeiro dancing way before Carlton Banks ever existed.
