Wizards allowed fans to bring brooms, but not broomsticks to Game 4

The arena was not going to let the sweep ruin spectators' sightlines though, and that is why they instituted a broom policy at the door, disallowing any long handled sweepers from the premises.

With the war of words that has been raging between the two teams since the start of the playoffs, fans were particularly giddy to send off their rivals to the north as raucously as possible.

The brooms did not go to waste as the Wizards held up their end of the bargain and defeated the Raptors in a 125-94 blowout to advance to the second round, where they will take on the winner of the Hawks-Nets series.
