Jarryd Hayne’s transition from rugby to football has captured the interest of his homeland of Australia, and comedy duo The Royal Stampede are taking advantage by dressing up in a Hayne jersey along with a helmet and pads (and metallic gold leggings) to take football to the streets.

Extra Mustard quizzed Aussie NFL blogger Matt Cleary on football terms

The ersatz “Hayne Train” runs rampant through the streets of Adelaide, challenging pedestrians to try to get past him and tackling a man to the ground as onlookers gasp.

“Hayne” is also followed around by a permanently excited American broadcaster who runs up on unsuspecting people and breathlessly asks for their opinion on the burgeoning NFL star.
