Gregg Popovich, sports coach: ‘Sports are boring’
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich didn’t watch the World Series because “sports are boring.”

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was in peak form during his pregame meeting with the media on Monday, revealing that he, a professional sports coach, actually isn’t all that much of a sports fan.
Pop, asked about the World Series, "Why would I want to watch a baseball game when I can go to dinner and relax...sports are boring."

Of course, this is the same Pop that said this just a few nights prior:
Popovich asked if he likes the way LaMarcus Aldridge is fitting: "Sure. Sure. If I wasn't, I'd just say that. I'd just lie to you."

But you can see where Popovich is coming from. I mean, 18 straight playoff appearances? Yawn.
