The Raptors banned Meek Mill’s music in their locker room

If you walk into the Raptors locker room after a win, you won’t hear Meek Mill blaring through the speakers.

If you walk into the Raptors locker room after a win, you won’t hear Meek Mill blaring through the speakers.

In a recent interview with Complex, Raptors forward Patrick Patterson revealed that the team has had a ban placed on Meek Mill’s music for some time.

“Meek Mill has been banned for a long time,” Patterson said. “No one plays Meek Mill.”

This makes sense, because Toronto-based rapper Drake, the team’s global ambassador, feuded with Meek Mill over the summer after an he accused Drake of using a ghostwriter.

It’s unclear if Drake had anything to do with implementing the ban, but it’s pretty hilarious.

The Raptors are No. 2 in the Eastern Conference, and Meek Mill’s hometown Philadelphia 76ers are No. 15. Drake is dusting Meek in just about every category.
