Watch: Michael Phelps joins ASU basketball’s Curtain of Distraction

Michael Phelps recently announced plans to serve as an assistant swimming coach at Arizona State after he retires. 

Michael Phelps, legendary Olympian, served as a distraction against Oregon State at Thursday's Arizona State basketball game.

The team's official student section announced Wednesday that this would happen. The Curtain of Distraction does pretty much what you would think it does: distracting opponents who are attempting free throws in the second half of home games at Wells Fargo Arena.

Phelps is training for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro under Arizona State swimming coach Bob Bowman and recently announced plans to serve as a volunteer assistant coach when he is finished competing professionally.
