Tyler Ulis met with young fan who cried when he declared for draft

Wednesday April 20th, 2016

Tyler Ulis decided to end his career as a Kentucky Wildcat after just two seasons to test his skills out in the NBA, a move that left one of his biggest fans, 7-year-old Ella Anderson, in tears at the prospect of not seeing the guard on the court anymore.

Ella was a lot cheerier on Tuesday though, as she put on her best Kentucky blue outfit to meet Ulis himself before he headed off to professional stardom.

This season Wildcats coach John Calipari has encouraged all of his scholarship players to take advantage of new NBA rules that allow players to attend the combine before making a final decision on leaving college for the pros.
