Broncos have had 3 different QBs on SI’s cover since December

Sports Illustrated has featured three different Broncos quarterbacks on its cover since December. Sorry.

The Broncos seemingly went from the reigning Super Bowl champions to team filled with questions marks in record time and nothing illustrates Denver’s mercurial status better than this: Sports Illustrated has featured three different Broncos quarterbacks on its cover since December.

The first of the trios was the briefly ascendant Brock Osweiler, who led the team to a 5–2 record including a win over the Patriots in his seven starts in 2015. The 25-year-old signed with the Texans when free agency began.

Next up was Peyton Manning, who shared the front with Tom Brady as the two prepared to face off in the AFC Championship Game for the final time. As you may have heard, Manning retired.

Following the draft, Paxton Lynch donned the jersey of his new team as one of the three first round quarterbacks featured on SI’s cover.

If I were Mark Sanchez, I would start getting ready for a photoshoot.
