Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews are always-teammates, sometimes-linemates, and it would appear, some level of friends as well.
Kane did a friendly thing a few days ago, wishing Toews a happy birthday. Toews, however, was a little more focused on something else.

Kane did the right thing here. It’s not a perfect system, but you should probably follow the people you work closely with. You don’t want to send the wrong message about what you think of their thoughts. And as I’m sure Kane already knows, you can always recruit the help of a pretty dope feature called the mute button.
