Wil Myers and Airbnb teamed up to put a room in the Padres first baseman’s home up for rent as the All-Star Game comes to San Diego on Tuesday, and it turns out the pad appealed to fellow All-Star Noah Syndergaard, who rented it out and will be bunking with Myers for the game.

Myers and Syndergaard have an existing relationship through their agency, and Myers tells USA Today that he is looking forward to showing the Mets pitcher around town.

“I’ll be able to show him around San Diego, just kind of show him the experience of what it’s like to live in downtown San Diego.

...

We’ve worked out together a couple of offseasons. He’s a great guy, and I’m really looking forward to spending some time with him in All-Star Week.”

The room comes with a private bathroom and Myers’s listing asks that you refrain from brining parties, pets or children to the home, but Syndergaard will probably be too busy getting himself ready for his first All-Star appearance for any of that.
