The Olympic torch has seen its share of troubles before arriving in Rio de Janeiro for the Opening ceremonies.

There have been multiple attempts to put out the flame. A jaguar was shot and killed after being used in a presentation of the flame. A woman tripped and hit the pavement face-first while holding the torch.

Thursday's troubles involved a police motorcycle colliding with one of the people hired to protect the torch. Immediately after the accident, one spectator decided it was his time to get a photo not with the torch, but with the accident.
