VIDEO: Israel Adesanya Hilariously Bumps Into UFC Nemesis at Airport

"My life is a video game," Israel Adesanya just can't avoid his UFC arch-nemesis.

The legendary rivalry between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira travelled from kickboxing to the UFC, and now apparently to international airports.

Fight fans jest about Pereira following Adesanya wherever he goes, and now ironically Adesanya has bumped into his UFC rival by chance at the Los Angeles International airport.

Pereira uploaded a video to Twitter on May 29 with the caption "Guess who I met at the airport?"

"Poatan" talks briefly to the camera, before panning around to spot Adesanya, who jovially covers his face to feign annoyance. Laughter is exchanged and the two fist-bump one another.

Adesanya uploaded his own point of view to his Twitter:

"My life is a video game," Adesanya joked in his caption. Adesanya panned the camera over his shoulder and zoomed in on Poatan who struck a pose. Adesanya put his hands over his eyes and shook his head.

Featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu savant Craig Jones can also be spotted walking behind Adesanya.

Unfortunately for fight fans, a fifth fight between the two kickboxers isn't expected in the foreseeable future. Pereira makes his UFC light heavyweight debut on July 29 against Jan Blachowicz. Adesanya is said to headline UFC 293 in Sydney Australia in September.
