St. John's Cracks Top 20 in National High School Basketball Rankings

St. John's (D.C.) climbed two spots to No. 19 in the latest update to the national rankings. Here's who rose and fell.

With no movement in the top 15 of the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national high school boys basketball rankings, the biggest story of the week came out of the nation's capital.

St. John's (D.C.) moved into the top 20 of the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 following a 3-0 week that included its second win over formerly-ranked Gonzaga (D.C.) in 10 days.

Meanwhile, the postseason is ramping up across the country

Duncanville (Texas) and Camden (New Jersey) will each miss their respective state tournaments. Duncanville's district removed the school from the postseason, but Camden saw its season come to an unexpected ending last week with an in-game melee that resulted in a firm punishment.

The Power 25 is a collaboration between SBLive and Sports Illustrated. Power 25 rankings are compiled by SBLive reporter Zach Shugan based on observations and conversations with an extensive network of coaching and media sources across the country.
