Bryce James, LeBron’s Youngest Son, to Change High Schools, per Report

Bryce James, the youngest son of Lakers star LeBron James, will be changing high schools next season, per a report from ESPN’s Myron Medcalf.

After playing with his older brother Bronny—who recently committed to USC—at Sierra Canyon last year, Bryce has decided to make a change and will reportedly attend Campbell Hall next season.

Campbell’s new head coach David Grace is already looking forward to the prospect of using his previous coaching experience to help Bryce develop, while being in the spotlight.

“I want Bryce, if I get to coach him, to be Bryce,” Grace told ESPN. “Because that’s special, and I want him to get the most out of his experience here at Campbell Hall and grow. He’s going to have way more than just me helping, but I’m going to try to do my part. I understand where he’s coming from to a point. I’m not him. My family wasn’t in that spotlight, but I’ve been around the spotlight and I can share my experiences or I can just understand his experiences. That’s where I’ll grow as a coach.”

The 15-year old prospect, who’s 6-foot-6 frame already has scouts enamoring about his potential, will reportedly attend an institution that costs $47,780 per year in tuition, according to the school’s website. According to ESPN, the James family has made a donation “toward the creation of a new multimillion-dollar athletic facility on campus.”

Scouts will be packing the gyms for Vikings’ games next year as Bryce James will join a roster that will include a pair of other talented sons from the sports and entertainment industries. Campbell Hall’s lineup next season will feature Richard Hamilton II, the son of former UConn star and 2003 NBA champion Richard Hamilton, as well as Baron Bellamy, son of comedian Bill Bellamy.
