Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Georgia High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 18-23 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 30 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominations.

JJ Sweat, East Paulding Softball

Sweat was un-hittable as she threw a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and earned the win versus rival Paulding County.

Brady Lane, Mill Creek Football

Lane made three field goals in a tightly contested 30-20 win over Parkview, his best coming from 46 yards out.

Maddie Johnson, North Oconee Softball

Johnson was amazing at every aspect of the game in the win over North Hall. She went seven innings in the circle with eight strikeouts and no hits allowed and went 3-for-3 at the plate with a triple and two RBIs.

J.D. Davis, Grayson Football

Davis was 21-of-25 passing for 237 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown as the Rams defeated Lowndes, 40-0.

Jacy Harrelson, Houston County Softball

Harrelson hit her ninth home run of the season and went seven innings in the circle with 12 strikeouts.

Thomas Blackshear, Calvary Day Football

Blackshear went to work on both sides of the ball. He had eight receptions for 112 yards and had one of Calvary’s three interceptions.

David Eziomume, North Cobb Football

Eziomume went off in a 42-27 win over Milton. He rushed for 325 yards and four touchdowns.

Caroline Stanton, Buford Softball

Stanton had a great week, with two home runs, five RBIs and two runs as the Wolves swept the week.

Nykahi Davenport, Roswell Football

Davenport rushed for 172 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries in a 56-0 win over Johns Creek.

Emma Grace Williams, Buford Softball

The FAU commit was dealing on the rubber, earning her seventh win of the season with a two-hit shutout.

Duke Watson, Mary Persons Football

It didn’t take much for Watson to impact the game. On only nine carries he rushed for 123 yards and four touchdowns.

Roderick McCrary, Creekside Football

McCrary had himself a day in a 49-14 win over Chapel Hill. He rushed for 178 yards and a touchdown and returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown.

Victoria Na, North Gwinnett Softball

Na threw a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts and recorded her 300th strikeout of her career.

Antavious Murphy, Bainbridge Football

Murphy was catching everything to help his team knock off Ware County. He finished with 13 receptions for 177 yards.

Hudson Hill, Prince Avenue Christian Football

The freshman Hill had nine receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns to help his team improve to 6-0.

Kendall Frost, Pope Softball

The East Carolina commit helped Pope earn its 17th win of the season as she threw a complete game with 12 strikeouts and only allowed one hit.

Jensen Brantley, Burke County Football

Brantley scored four of his team's five touchdowns in a 34-0 win over Statesboro. He had four receptions for 101 yards and three touchdowns and scored a fourth touchdown on a rush.

E.J. Colson, Cedar Grove Football

Colson put up a heroic effort versus Colquitt County. He passed for 294 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown.

Bailey Parks, North Oconee Softball

Parks hit her first home run of the season in a 19-2 win over Cedar Shoals. She finished with a line of 3-for-4 and two stolen bases.
