2025-26 Top 40 National High School Wrestling Rankings - Feb. 12, 2026

As postseason brackets take shape nationwide, Oklahoma’s loaded 6A dual meet field headlines a weekend packed with high-stakes showdowns, National Prep qualifiers and unforgiving state tournament formats.
No. 15 Stillwater is the top seed in this week's Oklahoma Class 6A state duals. To claim the title, the Pioneers will have to best No. 13 Edmond North (2nd seed), No. 33 Bixby (3rd seed) and No. 34 Broke Arrow (4th seed) and No. 14 Mustang (5th seed).

With only two states holding onto regular season wrestling action (Missouri and New Jersey), the postseason is in full swing everywhere else, either with state duals or individual processes underway.

The National Prep teams have their qualifiers this weekend for the grand finale next week at Lehigh University. Texas has completed theirs. We touched on it more in the latest National Prep Rankings.

Oklahma State Duals Offer Plenty of Intrigue

An intriguing dual meet spectacle will unfold in Oklahoma’s 6A Division on Saturday with five nationally ranked teams in the eight-man field. From our understanding, the seeding was done in a reasonable manner with those five teams occupying the top spots.

No. 15 Stillwater is seeded number one. No. 13 Edmond North was granted the second seed. No. 33 Bixby occupies the third seed and will likely face Edmond North for the right to roll in the finals. No. 34 Broken Arrow sits at No. 4 on the bracket with the fifth spot filled by No. 14 Mustang.

A Big Test for Mustang and Our Rankings

We will find out in the first round if we have been favoring Mustang too highly. Our team rankings have them higher than the others by a lot. There was an early season fourth place finish at the Gardner Edgerton Tournament and a second at Mid-America Nationals that hurts them a bit.

Mustang outpointed the champions of both of those tournaments, Broken Arrow and Tuttle, to win the Geary team race, with Stillwater in fourth since those early season hiccups. At the COAC Tournament, Mustang again finished ahead of Stillwater but was second to Edmond North, hence the order of our rankings. On top of that, Mustang went to Cali and won the Mid-Cals title over Gilroy.

If Mustang proves our rankings true and beats Broken Arrow, they will get a chance to dual Stillwater in the semis. If you have a Flo Wrestling account, you can watch the entire tournament live.

MPSSAA Duals On Tap in Maryland While Individual State Tourneys Take Place in Georgia, Texas and Utah

Elsewhere, Maryland’s MPSSAA Dual Meet States are on tap with individual state tournaments happening in Georgia, Texas, and Utah.

Indiana Reaches Semi-States

Indiana is at the Semi-State stage, leaving the state tournament for next week. Theirs’ is a cutthroat environment that dictates if you lose your first match, you’re done. No wrestlebacks to console you. Just pack up your gear and go home. The single class state tournament operates the same way. So, don’t come into these proceedings timidly.

The Path States Is Also Underway in Many Other States

This is not all inclusive and apologies to states we don’t mention. It is not meant to be a slight. Colorado and Iowa have a single step this week before next week’s states. California and Pennsylvania among others are beginning their individual paths to states.
