Rockies'Tulowitzki hit by pitch on left leg, leaves game

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has hobbled off the field after getting hit by a pitch on his left leg.

Arizona starter Wade Miley hit the three-time All-Star on the lower leg with two outs in the fourth Wednesday night. Tulowitzki went to the ground and clutched his leg. He got up and started limping to first where he was met by the trainer.

Tulowitzki then veered into foul territory and walked down the right field line to the clubhouse. There was no immediate word from the team on the type or severity of the injury.

Tulowitzki has been plagued by injuries in his career. He hit .312 with 25 homers and 82 RBIs in 126 games last season.
