The Tampa Bay Rays are headed to the World Series for only the second time in franchise history. On Monday the Rays named their Starting Pitchers for Games 1 and 2 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Game 1 will feature Tyler Glasnow who last started for the Rays during Game 4 of the ALDS vs the Yankees. During that outing, he surpassed David Price for the most strikeouts in a postseason by a Rays pitcher with 33. The right-handed pitcher has a 4.66 ERA with 25 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings in his four starts this postseason.

In Game 2, Blake Snell will take the mound. Snell has a 3.20 ERA with 19 strikeouts in four starts in the playoffs this year. The left-handed pitcher last appeared in Game 6 of the ALCS pitching five innings. Snell only allowed one run but walked three of the first seven batters he faced which ultimately led manager to Kevin Cash pulling him. Game 1 of the World Series is set for Tuesday.
