Demetrious Johnson says Ronda Rousey should 'grow up'

Demetrious Johnson criticized Ronda Rousey in a new wide-ranging interview with Sports Illustrated's Jon Wertheim, suggesting Rousey should "grow up." 

Johnson, the UFC flyweight champion, said Rousey needs to get over her losses in her last two appearances. It is unclear whether Rousey will ever fight again. 

"You got your ass beat, grow the f--- up," Johnson said of Rousey. "It happens. It's mixed martial arts. I don't want to be like that. If I lose, I'll be like, I lost."

Rousey last appeared at the end of 2016, losing in 48 seconds to Amanda Nunes. 

"Everybody f---ing loses. It's part of the sport," Johnson said. "Grow up.

"Look, Ronda, you lost two f---ing fights in a row, and you made more f---ing money than the women's roster. You'll be fine, don't worry about it."
