The NBA trade deadline is tomorrow and the soap opera in Orlando is getting spicier by the minute. Dwight Howardwas reportedly told that he could decide the fates of coach Stan Van Gundy and GM Otis Smith if he signed an extension. This didn't faze Van Gundy who said "If they want to fire me to please somebody, fire me. I really don't give a damn." The Nets appear to be in the lead for Howard's services, so much so that the NBA store has already starting selling a Dwight Howard Nets T-shirt. They aren't alone: ESPN mistakenly called Tuesday night's Magic-Heat game "Howard's home finale."
