The NBA hasput together a video pairing this year’s dunk contest with the iconic battle between Dominique Wilkins and Michael Jordan in 1988.

Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine had a battle of perfectly scored dunks on All-Star Saturday night that has some people wondering if it may have been the best show in the history of the contest.

The NBA is adding fuel to the conversation with a new video which splices together footage from the 2016 contest with the 1988 battle between Michael Jordan and Dominique Wilkins.

Jordan won the 1988 competition with his iconic dunk from the free throw line, while Saturday’s contest ended with LaVine taking off from just inside the stripe but adding a between-the-legs flourish.
