Darrelle Revis would reportedly love to join New England Patriots

Darrelle Revis could be released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as soon as today if they cannot trade him.
One possible destination for Revis? New England, which has emerged as a serious trade partner after Aqib Talib signed with the Broncos on Tuesday.
Revis, who has 21 interceptions and 109 pass deflections in seven NFL seasons, reportedly "would love to be a Patriot," and all it will take to pry him loose is a fifth-round pick, according to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com. While New England doesn't have a fifth-round pick this season, they have two in the sixth round.
Everything I've heard is that Revis would love to be a Patriot, above any other option. Still ample time for that to happen

Patriots in a strong position to land Revis now, especially after Talib's deal. Revis wants to be there. Will only take a 5th round pick

The Patriots might not need that pick, though. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, a Revis trade is unlikely at this stage. The Patriots also have more than $14.4 million in cap space, according to Erik Frenz of Boston.com.
Our man @RapSheet tells @NFLNetwork that it's unlikely Darrelle Revis will be traded at this stage. Makes sense.
